Answers to common questions about solar panel cleaning

Pricing & Billing
How do you calculate the price? ▾
Pricing is based on the number of panels with a minimum charge for smaller systems. Add‑ons like gutter clearing and skylight cleaning are optional extras. Bird‑proofing is always a separate, on‑site quote.
Can the quote change on the day of service? ▾
Yes—online quotes are estimates. If we find conditions that affect time or safety (steep pitch, limited access, heavy soiling), we’ll explain the difference and request your approval before work begins. You can decline and reschedule or cancel without charge unless a disclosed trip fee applies. See our Terms for details.
Do you offer discounts? ▾
Yes—we offer a 25% discount on the second cleaning if you book it at the same time as your first service (typically ~6 months later). Seasonal promotions may apply.
Scheduling & Day‑of
How soon can you come out? ▾
Most appointments are available within a few business days. You’ll receive a confirmation and a reminder before we arrive.
Do I need to be home? ▾
Not necessarily. As long as we have safe access (gates, pets secured), we can perform the cleaning and send photo proof afterward.
What if it rains? ▾
Light rain typically doesn’t affect the result. For heavy rain or high winds, we may reschedule for safety. We’ll notify you as early as possible.
Methods & Safety
How do you clean the panels? ▾
We use deionized (DI) water and soft brushes—no detergents, no pressure washing. This is safe for coatings and won’t leave residue.
Is it safe for my roof and warranty? ▾
Yes—our method is manufacturer‑friendly and roof‑safe. We follow roof‑access best practices and use harnesses where required.
Results & Maintenance
How much performance increase should I expect? ▾
It depends on soiling—many homeowners see 10–30%+ improvement after cleaning. Results vary by location and conditions.
How often should I clean my panels? ▾
Typically every 6–12 months, depending on dust, pollen, ash, or construction nearby. Our bi‑annual plan keeps things easy.
Service Area
Where are you located and which areas do you cover? ▾
